Melissa & Rene | engagement photography | look modernfun

MelRene4293-700The contact form on my website asks:  “Describe the look of the photos you would like in one word.”  I ask because it gives me a little bit of information about what you want to capture and portray with your photo session.  Melissa replied, “Modernfun!  And yes I made modern & fun into one word, because that’s what we’d like from our photographer!”   I love it.  And if you have two (or more) words that describe what you’re looking for, please- go crazy.  There are no rules!

Melissa mentioned that she loved this brick building where she goes to school and wanted to have it as a backdrop in their engagement photos.  We had adventures getting into the fire escape stairwell, and a lot of fun shooting with shadows, umbrellas, and evening light.  A bonus was the silhouette tree shot at the end of the evening.

I loved shooting your engagement photos Melissa & Rene-  can’t wait till NEXT May!
